Today, I’m showing you a workflow that feels like magic. We are going to create a stunning, animated 3D miniature city that actually reflects the real-time weather and date of that location.
We’ll use Gemini (Nano Banana Pro) to generate the base image with accurate data, ChatGPT to write the animation logic, and Google Flow (Veo 3.1) to bring it all to life.
Step 1: Generate the Base Image (Gemini)
We’re using Gemini because it has access to real-time data.
The Prompt Strategy: We ask for a "45° top-down isometric miniature 3D cartoon scene" and explicitly tell Gemini to "integrate the current weather conditions."
Copy & Paste: Use the Gemini prompt below. Just change
[CITY]to your location (e.g., Bangkok, London).The Result: Gemini will generate a beautiful diorama that actually says today's date and shows the correct weather icon (e.g., 90°F and raining in Bangkok).
Step 2: Create the Motion Prompt (ChatGPT)
Now we need to tell the video generator how to move.
Take the ChatGPT prompt below and fill in
[x]with what you want to animate (e.g., "boats moving slowly" or "clouds drifting").ChatGPT will output a clean, specific prompt optimized for Veo 3.
Step 3: Animate it (Google Flow)
Go to labs.google/flow and start a New Project.
Select Frames to Video and choose Veo 3.1.
Upload your image from Gemini.
Paste the motion prompt from ChatGPT.
Hit Generate.
In minutes, you have a living, breathing 3D map that captures a specific moment in time.

Prompt 1: For Gemini (Image Generation) Replace [CITY] with your location.
Present a clear, 45° top-down isometric miniature 3D cartoon scene of [CITY], featuring its most iconic landmarks and architectural elements. Use soft, refined textures with realistic PBR materials and gentle, lifelike lighting and shadows. Integrate the current weather conditions directly into the city environment to create an immersive atmospheric mood. Use a clean, minimalistic composition with a soft, solid-colored background.
At the top-center, place the title “[CITY]” in large bold text, a prominent weather icon beneath it, then the date (small text) and temperature (medium text). All text must be centered with consistent spacing, and may subtly overlap the tops of the buildings. Aspect Ration 16:9
Prompt 2: For ChatGPT (Animation Logic) Replace [x] with the elements you want to move.
Write a frame to video prompt so [x] move slowly. All should be contained within the diorama so nothing that animates breaks out of it. The prompt should be optimized for Veo 3. And there should be no music. Just appropriate ambient sounds.
